The Artist My name is Yah-Yah Shannaz, With over 30 years of artistic observations, I am forever inspired by Mother Nature in all her glory and splendour. We should all appreciate and explore the many beautiful shapes, colours, textures and endless formations within nature, its natural environment and admire the human form in all its many shapes and shades. My boundless joy for the uniqueness and individuality of African men and women around the world, both past and present is captivated. I am especially inspired by the many styles of dresses and countless hairstyles, headdresses, head wraps and of course, hats. This spans across all age groups and can be found wherever you find the universal African family. The endless styles, vibrant colourful designs, the contrasting numerous shades of smooth chocolate coloured skin is simply breathtaking. Inspired by powerful colours and patterns these dynamic features strongly influence my work. You will find a mix of traditional and modern styles that bring to you a collection of illustrated caricatures in the likeness of our Nubian brothers and sisters. Print Sizes We are opening with our line of A3 prints (A2 or above on request). Our prints are printed on high-quality paper and sold as a finished framed piece. Our greeting cards are kept blank making them suitable for all occasions. . The artwork on these cards are often referred to as a mini work of art and are designed for you to keep and cherish. Our abstract artwork and canvas prints are now available as single prints or as a set in various sizes.
